Tiener Kale (LaBeouf) heeft drie maanden elektronisch huisarrest gekregen. Van zijn moeder mag hij de tijd niet doden met Xbox en tv, daarom begluurt hij zijn buren in z'n saaie buitenwijk. Een knap buurmeisje (Roemer) betrapt hem maar neemt het sportief op en komt ook een kijkje nemen uit Kale's slaapkamerraam. Maar op een avond is Kale getuige van een moord. En alleen z'n vrienden geloven hem. Moderne tienerversie van Hitchcocks Rear Window met weinig echte verrassingen is toch verfrissend. De aandacht gaat naar ouderwetse suspense en niet naar overdadige bloederigheid.
